I have taught many aspects of film and theatre-making at graduate level in a range of schools in the US and Ireland. I’ve run the gambit, from visiting lecturer to curricula creator. I’ve taught screenwriting and play-making. I’ve trained directors, and I’ve taught actors. My strength is in conveying the practicalities of making words come alive on screen and stage. (But I have to confess, I do love delving into a bit of theory too.)
